Qualified dog trainer and owner Vanya-Louise, believes early puppy training and socialisation is vital and often, sadly overlooked. Although not limited to puppies and young dogs, dog training is an essential part of a well rounded puppy, who is a pleasure to have around. We believe training should not be limited to puppies and adolescent dogs either.
Being an owner of both rescue and re-homed adult dogs, Vanya-Louise understands how difficult it is to find dog training classes in Aberdeenshire and Inverurie. It also makes her aware that dogs with no formal training should have particular attention paid to them.

For shy or less confident puppies and dogs, group training isn’t always effective, so one-to-one classes tend to get better results. These sessions aim to eliminate additional stresses and distractions that having a new dog or puppy already brings.
What Vanya-Louise offers in the One-to-One sessions… fun, practical and informative dog training lessons in aberdeenshire which prepare your puppy or dog for real life situations, the pressures and demands of family life, as well as training both dog and owner to help their unbreakable bond, all whilst helping prevent behavioural problems from arising.

Barkwrights training for your new puppy includes proven methods for house training, as well as advice on the use of crates, toys and food to ensure that when you have to leave them home alone, they’re safe and entertained.

- Advice on your breed and their behaviour traits

Packages for adult dogs
The Clever Dog Company Method is an excellent way to train the adult dog. When they first arrive, adolescent and older dogs bring different challenges in terms of their behaviour and their training needs. Whether you are starting from scratch or you have a specific issue, we can address it.
